How to cancel your subscription and what happens when you do.

Your Cancellation Rights

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the period you've already paid for.

No cancellation fees: There are no fees or penalties for canceling your subscription.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription in two ways:

Method 1: Through Your Account

  1. Log in to your Debate Quest account
  2. Navigate to your Subscription page
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm your cancellation

Method 2: Contact Support

Email us at [email protected] with:

  • Your Discord username
  • Your subscription ID (if available)
  • A request to cancel your subscription

What Happens When You Cancel

  • Immediate effect: Your subscription will be marked for cancellation, but you'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
  • No automatic renewal: Your subscription will not renew automatically at the end of the current period.
  • Premium features: You'll lose access to premium features when your current period ends.
  • Account data: Your account and debate history will remain intact. You can reactivate at any time.
  • No refund: Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.

Reactivation

If you cancel your subscription, you can reactivate it at any time by subscribing again. Your previous account data and debate history will be restored.

Important Notice

If you cancel your subscription but do not want to lose access immediately, make sure to cancel after your next renewal date. This way, you'll get the full value of the period you've already paid for.
